Some events

Last week went fast, on wednesday I was like "today is monday"... so I was a bit confused ok :D
So, I saw two of my friends at airport in tuesday, they both left as exchange students for Korea. I'm sorry for Daphne I didn't have more time to talk D: it was middle of rush hour so I could only talk for little while until I had to go back to till.. but at least I could wish nice trip~

I remember not mentioning in here that I have repetitive strain injury on my foot. Anyway, on wednesday my foot was more painful again so I had to go to doctor. I wish I hadn't... the doctor was like "ok, I will give you cortisone shot, it won't hurt that much. And it will help you not feel the pain for a while"... not hurting that much, yeah right. The needle was big so I was a bit terrified and especially when he just pushed it to my foot like "this doesn't hurt." Imagine taking blood test, instead the nurse don't hit the vein but next to it and keeps going deeper. It felt like that only that the needle was bigger... Lucky, person can't be given cortisone shot but only couple times a year and with long gaps between the shots. So doctors won't recommend it for me at least for a while.

I feel like I didn't do anything productive this week except studying korean with my friend Anniina~ Trying to remember more korean words is hard task lol. Sometimes it feels like "yay this is easy" and then you open a textbook and be like "ok bye" :,D

Tomorrow I'm going to sushi restaurant with my friend Annina. I miss asian food all the time. Sushi in Finland is quite expensive but well, as long as it's good~

And then to cosmetics recommendation~

Nature Republic Cell Boosting BB cream SPF 30PA++ (color 01)

Price: about 15€ / $17
Where you can find it: For example roseroseshop

Ok, I'm a fan of Nature Republic alright :D I ordered this a little while ago since the bb cream from Missha I'm using now is almost finished. I saw this discounted in kpoptown when I was ordering other stuff and so, since I like Nature Republic I wanted to give it a try. This bb cream has a nice looking pastel-colored package and in the side of package ingredients are listed in english so that's a plus! I tried the cream and texture is very light but for my skintone it was a little bit dark, only a little but still noticeable. I haven't tried apply it for my whole face so I'm not sure what look it will give. But I can say that this will last long! I accidentally pump a little too much and it just kept spreading like crazy lol. So if you want a longlasting bb cream I recommend this.

Do I want to buy it again? Well propably not since it's a hint too dark but I will maybe try provence series bb cream next. I just note here that my skin is quite pale, so for normal toned skin this would be very good. I have actually difficulties to find bb creams from korea, even though koreans adore pale skin and pale make-up, they're usually still much darker for me.

______

That's all~ Next post is propably coming after next week. Because next weekend is Tracon where I'm going with two friends~ And btw, I got accepted to eatyourkimchi picnic event. I didn't even know my explanation about some finnish snacks/food was that great xD So everyone going there, see you there~

Korean food and other things

Hello again after a week~ I was somehow so tired throughout the week. I didn't have any long workdays or anything, I was just tired for some reason. But I was happy to meet my friends Anniina and Daphne on last friday, we had fun day; eating korean food and just walking in Helsinki city center. Daphne will leave to South-Korea for school exchange, so it was kinda farewell thingy.. I'll miss you :< I also promised to start studying korean also with Anniina because we're both intermediate level and she will also leave to Korea next year. And I need update to my skills lol. I need someone to speak it with~ When I go to Korea next time I want to be able to speak more better than last time. I still have to think too much and I'm slow at speaking >__< At least I can write in korean to my boyfriend and friends time to time to practice. I'm reeeeeally not good writing hangul either, I have to check like every other word from dictionary for spelling xD

Here's a photo from the korean restaurant, I ate 김밥 aka kimbap.

It was great~  I recommend to visit the restaurant if you have time: koreahouse
It was funny when we were eating, a really large group of korean tourists came in. It felt a little bit like in korea because everywhere we could hear just korean language :P

On saturday I had my first morning shift like in 3 months. I was a little confused and tired lol. Taxi came to pick me up at 3.50am, my shift started 4.45am. I saw my sister and her boyfriend first thing in the morning, they left to Marbella via Malaga. I was like "pleaaase take me too" xD instead I had to stay and work. Cruel world. Well, hopefully I will be able to go to London in October. I have serious travel fever and I want to get out from Finland lol. And finally got my passport so I'm able to leave the country yay~

So now let's change the subject to cosmetics recommendation~

Nature republic Provence make up base SPF30 PA++

Price: about 16€/$19
I originally bought this from Korea in Nature Republic but you can also get it from for example cosmetic-love. Nature Republic have recently made a new packaging for it so you might not find the exact same I have in the photo.

The make up base is very light, applies smoothly and is not sticky. I usually have to pump only very small amounts so it's also long lasting. But beware; if you have really dark or extra light skin, I would not recommend this for you. It is a bit whitening so if you have very dark skin it would look unnatural or if you have extra light skin, you will propably look like a ghost even after applying bb or cc cream. For my skintone it's comfortable so I like to use it. I apply it after skincare and obviously before bb cream. It's also great for the SPF30 if you don't like getting tanned walking outside in sunny day. This product also made me want to try other Provence -serie products.

So that's all this time. Have a nice week everyone :)

Work, work, work

Pretty much this week's theme was work. I felt like I was working 24/7. Everyday I was asked to stay a bit longer so I had long days especially in tuesday and wednesday when I stayed work close to midnight. So it was rough week at work but I made it out alive :D

Today I had easy, fun day with my family. We grilled food and just talked how everybody's doing. We are so rarely together anymore. Especially now that my sister lives with her boyfriend and my brother is in the army.

Tomorrow I'm going to police office to finally apply for new passport. I should have applied earlier because I knew my passport weren't valid after first week of July but somehow time just went by and suddenly it was the end of July and I was like o_m_g. But better later than never lol. So everyone; remember to check up your passports every once in a while and get new asap if your passport is not valid for long anymore. It would be not very nice surprise to wait some trip excitedly and then notice you can't go because you don't have any valid id. Well, I have only my driver's licence but it's not ok for travel for most of the countries.

And then to other subjects...

So in my previous post I was talking about doing skincare and cosmetics reviews and here is the first one. I am open to try many kinds of skincare and you will also hear from me if it's suitable for sensitive skin, wether to buy it or not. I have atopy and so, my skin is very sensitive. I usually can't use any "cheap" cosmetics because they're produced from cheap materials and therefore I get symptoms like rash often from them. But sometimes I get rash even from expensive products. So I just have to try and see. I'm addicted to asian cosmetics, especially korean ones even though most of them are classified as "cheap". I have gotten rash from some of them but on the other hand some have been excellent.

My favorite korean brands: Nature Republic, Innisfree, Aritaum, Mamonde, Missha.

So I was shopping the other day and saw this one skin product and thought to give it a go. Because lately I've been having more pores so I was thinking why not then. And this one was a total jackpot.

Let me introduce you to...

Maybelline New York new Baby Skin instant pore eraser.

The texture is very light, you can barely feel it when you apply it. And I have to say it works really well! And it didn't cause me to break out so I recommend this also to those who have sensitive skin.
Bought from: Anttila
But I think you can get this from biggest stores that sells cosmetics and skincare.

So here was today's post. Thanks for reading^^

Hello Hello

I didn't quite know if I should write in finnish or english but I decided to write in english after all, so that everyone can understand~

So a short introduction: My name is Kati, I'm 25 years old (soon 26) and I like travelling, food, music (especially kpop), reading and hanging out with friends. But I also need my own time to relax (I count myself as introvert). I am often mistaken a bit cold or too quiet even though I'm only shy and like to listen more than speak. But with friends or people I'm familiar with, I'm totally different. I currently live with my parents, I have a great family and I have loving boyfriend whom I'm with long-distance relationship because we live in different continents.
I have a job at Finland's biggest airport, Helsinki airport so if you ever see me there when you're travelling, come and say hi~

So why did I decide to put up a blog? Well this is actually my fourth blog, previous ones have been only travel blogs but this time I just wanted to write about my life and adventures. I've always been a little jealous of bloggers who have amazing blogs and have ambition to keep it going for so long hehe. So I thought why not make a lifestyle blog. Hopefully I can write about many trips to come to another countries since I love travelling and I don't know how to survive even a year without visiting somewhere. And perhaps I will be living in South-Korea in the future so I can write about living in Korea again. And I say again because I lived there previously 3 months as a volunteer worker. I told about it in my other blog, it's in finnish so I won't link it in here.
And I will propably write some reviews and stuff from example new cosmetics I'm trying etc.

And where did I get inspiration for my blog name? Wild guess ;D Because I love Korea and I like Seoul's atmosphere I chose something to connect to it.

So that's all for now~ Thanks for reading my blog^^
