This week has been melancholic yet fun for me. On monday I went to shopping with my mom, she was looking a birthday present for her friend so I just went there to help. In the end I ended up buying some Vicks soothing toner, vicks deodorant and got a free gift package of vicks sample. But I really needed toner... I have one half used which is from garnier but it wasn't that good. I will do review of vicks products later~
Tuesday and wednesday were my last workdays in wdfg. I was kind of melancholic because it has been weird thinking I won't be going to airport almost everyday anymore and I won't see my wonderful work collagues. But on the other hand I'm glad to get rid of that place, especially with opteam workers, their rules and all felt unfair. I won't go into details but I advice you this: think twice before applying to any company that rents workers to other companies.
On thursday I met with one of my ex-work collagues that I've known since my first official job and we had nice time eating, chatting and shopping a little. I spended a little money to skincare product again. Oops. I bought Body Shop acne prevention gel stick. I still haven't tried it so I have to review it later. I seriously have tried too many products to taking care of my skin which refuses to cooperate almost with every acne/pore prevention products... It's frustrating, I feel like just as I have gotten my skin better it starts to get worse again. I have the most annoying skintype ever. But apparently I'm good at hiding it with makeup because my mom said to me this week "your skin looks it is in more better condition now" and I was like "no mom, it's just makeup" lol. But even makeup won't cover all T_T
I'm kind of new to skincare and makeup actually. You wouldn't seriously believe compared to my age but I started using makeup only 6 years ago and skincare about 3 years ago. My skin has always been sensitive and I didn't even like putting makeup before. And sometimes I have to use less if my skin is in bad condition. But basically I still don't use that much makeup. My routine is that at morning when I have washed my face I apply serum (I use Lumene's for sensitive skin), then base (I use nature republic), then BB cream (I use Missha's one that they don't make anymore <_<) and lastly CC powder (again from lumene. It gives nice matte look). I don't use mascara very often because my eyes are really sensitive. Lipstick I don't like to use that much. I prefer natural look. My evening routine is washing face, applying cleansing cream (Biotherm, the pinkshade bottle), after washing face again, applying serum (now Biotherm blue therapy accelerated) and then applying toner. I have come to the conclusion that my face don't handle creams very well. Or I haven't found the right one. But everytime I have used serum+cream next morning my face is full of pores. And I have tried every kind of creams (even very expensive sensai and biotherm). Nothing is good <_<
Sometimes when I get many pores I have to leave bb cream out of my makeup. Anybody has same problems with skincare and makeup?
Sorry for very long talk about this subject xD
Yesterday I went to movies with my mom. We watched "The Intern" and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have some positive thoughts and enjoy a slice of life movie. And today I went to autumn market with Annina and tomorrow is dance practice so there goes my weekend. But I had fun at autumn market, I will post couple photos here~
Funny texts. Only finnish person will know :P p.s.this is chocolate |
I bought lingonberry honey from the booth you see in middle photo. Lappi-hunaja is my favorite company to buy honey. They have some interesting tastes but this time it was first time I saw for example blueberry, cloudberry and lingonberry honey and last one was the most tasty so I had to buy it even though it was a little pricey (one small jar was 12€ x.x)
Now to cosmetics~ (actually skincare)
Biotherm Blue therapy accelerated serum
Price: 86€ / $96.10
Where can I get it: for example Sokos emotion. I believe any big cosmetics store have this.
So this promises alot. The main purpose is to fight against visible signs of aging. And believe or not skin starts to age around when you're 25 years old. So this is actually recommended for younger people also even if it's against clearly visible signs of aging. This serum promises it will soften and beautify skin instantly and promises to remove dark spots and visible lines. It promises you will look more radiant in only 4 weeks. Serum contains "algae of youth" which is invented by Biotherm and is the core of this serum, behind of all effects basically. I started using this about 2 weeks ago and I have to admit my skin is a bit softer and definetly more radiant than before. It has subtle seaweed fragrance but for me for some reason it smells like cucumber lol. To use it you have to take two drops of it and apply it to your face before any other skincare products. It has pipet which assures you won't take too much at once. It is recommended you use the serum at night because it has more effect then. I think this would be a good investment for money because it lasts _very_ long and is the best there is at stores currently. This serum is also the most cheapest serum currently.
Would I continue to use this and buy new one after this is finished? Propably because I feel it's effect only in 2 weeks. I can imagine what it can make in month or two.
So that was all this time. See you~
