Birthday & Tallinn

Last week on weekdays I was pretty much at home because my leg was hurting from the blister =_= but luckily, I got much better for my trip to Tallinn.

So I went to Tallinn with my friend Annina last Saturday. The day happened to be my birthday also :3 We went with Viking Line Xprs and it took only 2hours 40minutes to get there. I was worried if I would get seasick because waves were quite big and at some point I started feeling a little queasy. We went to upper deck until we were arriving to port. The waves didn't feel that bad in there.

Funny, we were the first who got out of ship lol. We were in hurry to see as much as possible so we hurriedly left the port and headed to old town. It was very nice and cozy, reminded me of Stockholm old town except with much more colors on buildings. But there were so much renovation going on that it partly ruined the experience =__= But we had fun anyway~

Funny how there was historical buildings used as shops and in one of them was mcdonald's
After looking around for a while we walked more towards city center and went to eat to hesburger lol. We were really surprised when we ordered normal meal and got small drink with it (in finland that would be small size). But maybe that's why the meal is cheap? I was so jealous how cheap it was in Tallinn! Prices in restaurants and clothing stores were half of what in Finland...

After eating we went shopping, first we browsed through Viru mall but there were mainly expensive brand stores. But if you want some style that can be compared to finnish Vila or Vero moda then I recommend "River Island" at first floor and "Reserved" at second floor. The latter is more cheaper and has quality clothes so I recommend it! I found myself a shirt from there~ Actually that style shirts costs about 25€ in Finland but there the normal price was 15€! I was soooo happy~

After that we headed for mall next to Viru which name I don't remember but it wasn't foorum (which was next to it). We looked around New Yorker and H&M. I didn't find anything specific but Anniina shopped in New Yorker lol. Then we walked to "Rotterdam block" which is between port and city center. We visited chocolate shop "Kalev", a famous estonian chocolate and candy maker. I bought couple chocolate bars and Annina also bought some chocolates. Then we quickly visited Bershka because time was going fast. Annina bought a jacket which looked so good but I didn't find anything. Aahhhh why can't shops like Bershka and River Island invest for Finland T_T even though I didn't find there anything now, those shops are soooo my style.

Rotterdam's block square

Kalev was preparing for christmas
Then we had to rush to our terminal because clock was 5.15pm and they would close gates at 5.45pm. We got there on time and almost like 15minutes after we were on ship we were already moving :D Really, three and half hours are too little to spend in Tallinn. Sometime I have to book a two-day trip.

First we went to taxfree shop, I didn't shop in Tallinn that much so I figured I could buy something from taxfree. I finally decided to buy Sensai's shampoo because I have been wanting to try it but at normal stores it's very pricey. But in viking line taxfree it was 18,95€~ From alcohol side I bought Bottega lemoncino's small bottle of liquor (I have wanted to taste this like a year now lol but I've always seen only that bottle that is too big <__< ). I also bought fruit + salted liquorice liquor, I have never seen this and it sounded like interesting combination :P So I bought those two for christmas and new year~ Then I also bought some candy. Now I have too much chocolate and candy xD

We arrived to Helsinki 8.30pm. We had fun day and we thought that maybe we're going soon again lol. Actually I got christmas offer from viking line so we're currently thinking of using it~

On Sunday my grandmom came to visit and also my aunt and uncle. We talked and spend time; drank coffee and ate some pastries. I'm thanking here again everyone who remembered me and gave presents.

I received birthday present from my boyfriend actually week before because he wasn't sure how long it would take to get to me. He gave me lots of korean snacks and a very unique usb stick where he put some music for me. I won't show photo of it because it's kind of personal but I'm loving the unique idea<3 I was so surprised and thankful.
From my parents I got card and money. From grandmom I got card, money and carafe. From my aunt and uncle I got card, money, chocolate bar and plant (which won't fit in my room lol, I have too much stuff).

My boyfriend's birthday gift~

My grandmom's birthday present for me
On sunday evening I had dinner with Annina, Noora, Silja and Karoliina (who's Annina's friend). We wanted to gather together for me and Annina's birthdays and because we haven't seen each other as group for long time. We went to Amarillo flamingo and we had so much fun! It was nice evening :) And even though we had to wait 45 minutes our orders, customer service was very good!! The waiter was friendly and even chatted with us from random things lol. So I recommend the restaurant for good food and customer service~

Korean culture event and other things

Hi everyone~

I'm keeping myself busy even now that I'm unemployed which is good because else I would get really bored and lazy lol.

So as I promised I will talk a little about the Korean culture event I went a week ago saturday. I went with Anniina and we went as soon as the event opened, it cost 5€ so not so bad~ I think they made one serious error; they didn't give attendees any ticket or stamp so basically if you didn't mention you were going to go out for a while from event, you could have ended up paying twice because they had no way of knowing who already paid and who didn't. Me and Anniina just confirmed couple times from staff that they will surely let us in back if we go out.
We first took a quick look what stuff is there for sale and sorry to also say this but I found it a bit lacking. It would have been more great if they got for example korean snack stand etc. in there. Now there was only one company selling cosmetics and wigs and then flee market where they were basically selling kpop stuff. And I'm not that interested in buying kpop stuff anymore. My favorite group is VIXX but even for them I won't go into crazy shopping spree, the things I buy have to be useful for me or at least official stuff.
In the event opening show was learning Big Bang's Bang Bang Bang dance choreography. So this one:

We just followed and watched in the back while others danced. It looked so fun but I was already getting so hot because air wasn't circulating that well in that space... so I wasn't gonna get sweaty for rest of the day lol.
When dance class was over we just browsed a bit and went to one workshop area and just talked to random people who we didn't know. I'm actually very shy to speak with strangers... but it was nice.
Then we left to eat and met with Linda promptly. And back got back to the event again.
We took part to a korean culture quiz and I won! Lol I have not won anything ever so I was happy. And bit confused why I won because I left three quiz answers empty because I didn't know them (there was 10 questions about korea and half of them were from kpop). I had no idea to questions asked about Girl's Generation rumoured second sub-unit, when south-korea became independent and which is Big Bang's debut song and when they debuted. Sorry, not big fan of SNSD and Big Bang.
Anyway my price was snacks donated by korea box.
I haven't tasted those korean snacks before so it was nice but when I went to look how much worth is one korea box snackbox per month... well, it's a bit pricey compared to where the snacks came from and what's the shipping cost for one box. (they will make some serious profit).

After quiz they closed doors for a while and we had to wait in the lobby for them to arrange the place for main event; kpop dance competition aka KDC. I was surprised how many dance groups were in so good level in dancing! But some groups were so awkward to watch.

Just some tips for those groups: if you choose a song that is energetic, you have to have that energetic attitude even if you make mistakes. Audience will feel your energy and won't even notice when you make mistakes if you just have that attitude. And when you dance, you have to do the moves larger, there were some groups that looked like they were just standing there doing some small moves that were hard to differ what they were. And I was in 4th row so I had clear view but still with some groups it was hard to see what they were doing. Also, practice your expressions in front of mirror! It's important you look you're enjoying dancing! Now some people from some groups looked like they want to run away. I know it's because you concentrate so much but for the audience it's important you show you're enjoying it. And last but not least I have to mention synchronization. Some groups were so out of synch it was hard to watch.
And I meant to give these all as advice for you to be so much better next time, not to diss anyone.
And this all comes from a person who danced 8 years and last 3 years in main representing performance dancegroup for our dancehall. In the group we did many shows and even competed in dance competitions. Ah, how I miss those times, when I saw KDC it made me want to dance again in dancegroup T_T

Anyway, it was very tough competition and I accidentally ended up taking video from winner :D Because I'm VIXX fan, I took video from Function performing On&On and in the end they won KDC. I'm happy for them and proud as Starlight. It was great performance, every detail were in place and even though they made couple small mistakes, it was enjoyable to watch. And I'm not saying all this because I'm Starlight, even judges acknowledged their performance.
Second place went to dancegroup who performed VIXX Error. Even though they were good and acknowledged as second place, I myself felt something was missing. Maybe I'm more critical because I'm Starlight lol. They were good, points for that and there was such amount of feeling even I felt it! But I found dance somewhat lacking... I don't know what it was... but that's how I felt T_T I'm sorry T_T I'm not trying to diss or anything, I'm happy as Starlight that they were second with VIXX's choreography. And apparently VIXX is getting more and more popular because this year there were 22 groups and two groups did VIXX's choreography and came as TOP2~ and I heard people go wild for them lol.

Here's Function's cover and VIXX's real choreography, just to compare :P

So that's about it from korean culture event. I ended up explaining it a bit longish lol...
So in this week I have been keeping myself busy also. Monday and tuesday there was so nice weather I just couldn't wait to get outside and walking. It's still great autumn weather. Although season is slowly turning into winter. On wednesday I went to accompany my mom shopping, she wanted to go buy some flowers because my mom loves flower arranging. And she did one arrangement for my parents 30th anniversary (of meeting) and it goes with father's day just as fine. Congratulations to my parents ^^

On thursday I went to eat dinner with my friends Anniina, Linda and Laura. We went to korean restaurant Korea House which I have mentioned in one of my previous post also. If you want to experience a little bit of Korea in Finland, it's the place I recommend :) I ordered vegetable 순두부찌개 (sundubu jjigae) which is spicy tofu soup with vegetables. Usually it's a soup with seafood but because the only seafood I like is shrimp I ordered the soup as vegetable version. It's scalding hot but you'll get used to that if you eat alot of korean food. But I accidentally touched the pot with my finger and got burned =__= it's only a minor area in my finger but I couldn't feel anything with it for two days so everyone be careful with hot things ok~
Anyway I had fun chitchatting with my friends, we really need to meet more often :<

Unluckily I got abrasion from my new shoes after that evening =_= it got more painful yesterday and I haven't been walking properly since then. I hope it will get better fast... It's like the size of my pinky finger =__= everyone, be careful with new shoes ok? I should have at least put some bandaid because I knew new shoes can cause things like this but I never had anything this bad before... lucky it's a week until my trip for Tallinn, if it would be only couple days I would be screwed.
Did I even mention that I'm going to Tallinn? Me and Annina are going to celebrate our birthdays that way :) I can handle 3-hour ship trip even though I get pretty serious motion sickness. I usually get only a little headache after going to Tallinn by ship. So it's not so bad. But I still can't even think going to Stockholm by ship... my last time in 2010 was horrible I don't even want to think about it. So I'm only brave enough to endure 3-hour trip in a ship.
But yay can't wait!

Today was father's day and our whole family gathered in our home and we ate family dinner and spend coffee moment together. It was nice and quiet day full of leisure~ Although I feel a little bad for Annina because I had to ditch my dance hobby today (because I can barely walk).

I'm not doing cosmetics review this time either, I talked too long about that korea event lol. So until next time~ (I will propably do post after my trip to Tallinn).

London

Hello again~

This week went over reeeeally fast and I feel like I'm totally dead but happy lol. So last Sunday we left to London with my sister Anne for four days. Taxi came to pick me up to the airport at 5 something am xD so I was pretty tired but we met up at airport and check-in and security check were really fast, there were hardly any people. We didn't stay browsing in any store, we went straight to non-schengen area and straight to Starbucks lol because I had to have coffee.

We stayed a while in there and then went to wait to gate. I didn't get bored in flight because I had book so it felt like we arrived to London very fast. Again, I was satisfied with British airways, their chairs were so wide and service so good~ totally opposite comparing to our national aircompany finnair. Sorry to finnair but everytime I travel with them I feel like they have saved again from something and it's taken from customer services (like they decided to remove free food in their europe routes). I try to support finnish companies but I feel like finnair's service is slowly goin more down.

Anyway, we arrived after 2hours 40minutes to Heathrow and took Heathrow express to Paddington. I had Oyster cards from previous trips so we just had to load them and we were good to go. Our tube station was Bayswater so it was _really_ close to Paddington and everything else.
We found our hotel, Bayswater Inn very easily. Thanks to me being me aka very careful with travel plans and checking everything like the route beforehand lol.
The only thing I hadn't checked was hotel's check-in time... it was 3pm and we arrived around 11am there... and they weren't flexible at all. It was 3pm and that's it. We left our luggage to hotel and decided to leave to city center. We first visited British museum and then went shopping Oxford street. I was surprised how Oxford street has changed in just two years! Many shops have left and more same chain shops have appeared here and there. I found my new favorite shop; New look. They had few shops in Oxford street so if you go to Oxford street you can't miss them. New look is kind of between H&M and Forever21.

Around 3pm we left back to our hotel and was given room in 1st floor. I was a bit shocked when we opened our room door... it wasn't at all what photos promised and instead calling themselves 3-star hotel they could be hostel! Actually we could have had more modern and better hostel room with even cheaper price than what we paid for that and it's what's annoying me the most. I have stayed more simple hotels but this was the worst and that's alot from me because for example in Berlin and in Korea I stayed accommodations that were sooooo simple and small.
The tapestry drooped from walls, windows had small holes between them so cold air came through, toilet seat was broken and beds were _very_ old. And in our last night our lightbulb decided to go disco. I don't recommend Bayswater Inn to anyone, don't let their modern reception fool you, it's totally different with rooms. Only good thing about the hotel was their location.

So, in 1st day in London we were just walking and shopping lol. We visited the famous piccadilly and Regent street also. And in next days we also walked. Alot. On monday we first left to Buckingham palace and we got there the time when they changed the guard so it was nice event to see. Too much people though but London is like that lol.

After that we walked from Buckingham palace to Trafalgar square, if you want to save in travelling costs it's actually not that far to walk from sightseeing place to another. But a warning: your legs will be dead in the evening lol. But I think walking was still worth it, we got to see plenty of nice London scenery what you obviously can't experience if you're travelling with tube in London city center.

When we arrived to Trafalqar they had changed the square to place to watch NFL games so everything was pretty much covered in banners and fences so sadly we couldn't get close to those famous lion statues :/ We decided to have a lunch at Garfunkel's, a restaurant chain offering basically "quality" junk food. I ordered fish & chips and was not disappointed. It was actually good even if I'm not fan of fishfood. But I decided finally to taste fish & chips, afterall this was my 4th time in London lol. After our lunch we started walking towards Big Ben because you can basically see it from Trafalgar so we decided not to take tube again.

this is the best we could get out from our visit to trafalgar.
When we started getting closer to Big Ben we noticed how crowded area it was! Too much tourists and every street corner was so crowded. We also spotted London eye from there, you can see it clearly if you walk to he bridge next to Big Ben. We took some photos and also saw Westminster abbey church right next to Big Ben. I actually didn't remember it was that close lol. We took couple more photos outside but didn't go in because tickets to that church was something like £28!!! Won't ever pay that much just too see some church, no matter how famous it is...

After it we decided to go to Oxford street again and this time we took tube because it was pretty long way from there to Oxford street as we were already been walking all day.
Then we went shopping again :P

Day 3 we left around 10am and our next destination was straight to Tower of London. I never have visited there even though I have visited London 3 times previously. I've always seen it far away so I decided this time I have to visit there. It was a good decision as we saw a bit of old London and it cost about £20 so it's not bad if you're going to visit only one or two attractions inside in London. By the way, they do brief security check at gates so be prepared. Main attraction was Crown Jewels but we didn't visit there, queue was so long it was about 2-hour wait if we wanted to see them so even though they're famous we said no thanks. Instead we visited other museum displays in Tower of London and took photos from Tower bridge which was next to Tower of London.

It was already something like 3pm when we left and again we went to Oxford street and Regent street. To those who want to visit Tower of London, reserve at least 3 hour the visit~

Anyway we went to shopping again because Anne wanted to find something more than what she had previously bought and also she wanted a plushie. We went to Hamley's in Regent street which is, I think, most famous toy shop in the world. We were going up and down the floors, it was actually just coincidence that I spotted toothless plushie. It was in 3rd floor near stairs. I actually wished to find toothless plushie but I kinda forgot it as soon as we were in London but when I saw it I was like OMG I have to have that plushie lol. It was toy workshop so you actually took unfinished plushie, then went to workshop where worker filled up the plushie, you could choose if you wanted some sounds for it or not. And most cutest thing was they put a little heart inside plushie. You could choose from various characters so everyone who's looking something unique I recommend this toy workshop~ But service onwards wasn't that good =__=;;; I was never told I should pay it to some small corner till in 3rd floor next to workshop. So I went down with Anne and Anne bought a regular plushie and could pay it in there but I couldn't, cashier just said "you have to pay it to 3rd floor." I was like ok and went up again and followed sign "pay here." I went to line up and when I wasted like 5min they came to me and said "you can't pay here, you have to pay to that corner cashier over there." I started to be a bit annoyed because at least two sales assistants had saw me when I came to line up and even made eye contact but instead telling me as soon as I came I had to wait 5min before anyone told me. So then I went finally to the right cashier place and there were only one person serving and before me was a family which had difficulties decide something and suddenly one of them just left somewhere and had me and couple other customers wait like 10min, reserving the cashier. So annoying, if you're not ready it would be at least polite to say it's ok to take other customers while they're waiting to decide something... But I finally got my plushie. By the way, nowadays Hamley's is also charging for plastic bag. I was surprised how many companies in London has taken this system, even chains like H&M. Before, plastic bags were free. I understand they want to be egological but hey, if you have big plushie or 10 pieces of clothes it's no doubt you need a bag... now some can say "why not take your own bag" well yeah, when you're tourist you just aim to survive as few items as possible and not taking anything like extra bags to take space in your bag which contains like wallet, water bottle, camera etc.
More serving technique to customers would be taking extra charge when customer already has a plastic bag where she/he can stuff things.

My toothless <3

After Hamley's we walked a bit more to just see if there's any more shops we want to visit and then left to our hotel to pack our things.

On Wednesday we tried to go to Harrods before leaving to Victoria station but it didn't go so well. You can't enter Harrods with luggage. They have luggage room but they're charging £10 just to leave your luggage there for a while!! We certainly weren't paying that much so we just left to Victoria station. Lucky, Victoria has some shops we could spend some time and restaurants so getting lunch was no problem. This time our flight was with Norwegian leaving from Gatwick and Gatwick express leaves from Victoria station. We weren't lost a second even if Victoria is quite big. To get deposit payment back from Oyster card, just return it to Visitor info center about middle in Victoria station.

There is very clear signs where you can get to Gatwick airport train so it was also no problem to find it. But airport trains are very expensive in London, Gatwick express cost £19. The trip takes half an hour and then you're basically at the airport. We even didn't have to wait because there was only self check-in and baggage drop available. We just dopped our luggage there and went through security check to gate side. They have same kind of tax free as Helsinki airport has (well they're same company) but anyway... we walked through tax free, I remembered to buy one perfum for my friend and Anne bought something for her boyfriend. Cosmetics side customer service was so helpful and professional but same cannot be said from cashiers =__= when I went to pay not once did sales assistant smile or be cheerful. She just stared at me, bored and was kind of rude to me. I know how it is to work in busy atmosphere and sometimes it can be stressful, I have even worked in same position as she but please, some feeling to that work... it's your job for chris' sake... But I'm glad I got professional service at least from cosmetics side.

We were pretty tired when we boarded the plane. I had earlier bought a book again because I finished the one I had in first flight and I thought to start this new one. At first I was like if it's even possible because right in front of my seat one kid got pretty serious rage thing going on and it lasted for some time. Kid's parents had some serious issues get this kid quiet... but gladly he stopped after a while so I could concentrate and start reading. The book by the way was kind of Divergent spinoff book called "Four." I didn't even know this book excisted so when I found it I was like omgomgomg. Because I have nearly finished reading Divergent series and Four does not contain spoilers because it tells the story of Four before meeting Tris.

We landed 11.45pm and I was sooo ready to go to sleep. My mom picked me up and we said goodbye to my sister. All and all I had fun trip and it reminded me again why London is my favorite city in europe.

I won't do cosmetics review this time since this was already too long lol. Next time I'll be telling about korean culture event I went yesterday~ Until then~

Shopping and book expo

Hello~

I've been busy also this week. On wednesday I went to do little shopping with my sister. She was looking for luggage to our London trip. We first visited verkkokauppa.com, there were two nice options but my sister didn't buy anything. I bought new headphones for my computer and some ink for printer. Why is it always me who ends up buying something even though we didn't go shopping because I needed something xD
We also visited couple other shops but didn't find any luggages fitting our needs. Either they were too big or then too expensive. Why is it so hard to find luggage that isn't cabin size or very big extrasuperlarge size >_<

On thursday I went shopping with mom. She needed some plants (again) but for outside this time. I just went along because I didn't have anything to do lol.

And on friday we went to Helsinki book expo in Messukeskus, Pasila. My mom didn't want to check but couple stands so we ended up spending more time in food&wine fair side than in book expo. Although when we came in to book expo I immediately spotted Sammakkokustannus and went to check out what they had. I bought Mummo2 comic xD I like the style, it's so spontaneous, warm, funny and cozy. Those who understand finnish, I totally recommend this for you!!

So after walking around in book expo a bit we went to food&wine side. This year there weren't that many countries and different foods so I was kind of disappointed. But if you have sweet tooth you would have loved it in there; there were so many stands introducing different chocolates and candies! I couldn't resist and bought Lindor chocolates. Anyway, when we were checking out stands for a while we just decided to go to wine side for fun. My mom went ahead, there was security guards to guard the area so that under 18 years old wouldn't get in. So me and mom walked in side to side just talking and then suddenly security guard stopped me and asked me for my ID lol. I had to shout mom to wait a minute while I was getting my wallet to show my ID. My mom said she was so close saying "my girl is already 26 years old" :,D But it's their job to stop anyone who looks under 30 years old and people they think are under 18 years old. It was so funny because the security guard looked so serious and was staring me like "yeah you sure aren't 18" (I have noticed here in Finland that some people in customer service have that attitude when they think they surely have spotted and caught someone under 18 years old). So he looked my ID for few seconds, then went all flustered and gave me my ID back. It was funny because yeah it's his job to ask if they think I look under 30 and I understand that but they tend to get too cocky sometimes. I know I have kind of babyface and so for example in Alko I have my ID ready already when I go to cashier but still... yeah...

So after walking in wine area for a while we decided we're too hungry to concentrate on anything and went to one "street food" stand and ordered gyrios which is greek pita dish. It was very good but I topped it with homemade chili sauce and it was too spicy!! I thought that yay I can spice it up a bit and it was the most spiciest chili sauce I have ever tasted! Like oh.my.god. I didn't taste mayonnaise chili sauce that was this spicy even in Korea (where you can find things that makes your mouth burn lol). But I finished it like a boss lol.

Then we went to get free coffee, nespresso was having coffee tasting so I took mild Lungo coffee and it was actually good coffee coming from coffee machine made for homeuse.

After it we decided to browse couple more stands and spotted a cooking show where one of the MC's was celebrity cook Harri Syrjänen. After watching it couple minutes we felt we're already too tired so then we left for home. We were so tired in the evening, but it was fun day~

So today I have been packing and preparing and tomorrow will be going to London yay! Our flight leaves 7.40am =_= but going abroads yay! I'll be coming back on wednesday evening (actually it will be almost night).

Birthday parties and beauty fairs

Hello everyone!

I had such a busy week! Like monday to wednesday I was cleaning and doing stuff like planning my London trip. Then on thursday I had to be with my father when he went to get surgery on his hand. I was only one available that day from my family, without somebody to escort my father they wouldn't have let him leave hospital. So I went there with my father and it was practically an all day thing. We went 10am, my father got called in around 11am so I had some free time, I went to shopping mall near hospital to spend time (I even finally found pants what I've been searching for ages now lol). Went back before 3pm and my father was released after 3pm and we were home a little after 4pm. I had to drive home in my father's car... which was my first time driving it so it was pretty interesting xD I had to manage through rush hour traffic with a car that I've not driven before. But got home alive yay! And my father was telling me instructions all the time because I was panicking like "am I in right line" or "where do I go from here, is it ok to put this gear now" looool. It was 6-gear car and I've only driven 5-gears. So first time in Helsinki in serious traffic wasn't propably the best way to train with that car xD

On friday I went to iloveme -fair with Annina. I got free tickets from allergiatyyny.fi for writing a review for them. (I bought new pillow from Habitare from allergiatyyny).
It was a pity one segment was closed up from audience until saturday but we got to see lots still. I got alot of samples and made new interesting finds, companies that I've not heard about before. First we were just browsing cosmetics and skincare companies and what they had to offer and after that it just turned food fest to us lol. There were so many companies introducing new health foods and drinks! We tasted too much I think xD at some point we felt full even though we were tasting one spoonful from every company. So be careful when you're going to beauty & health fairs xD

Here's what I got from there. I'm propably doing review from products later when I've had time to try them~

In last photo I bought ziaja argan oil handcream and those nailpolishes but the others I got free. I will be testing them sometime soon.

I left messukeskus on friday about 3pm, I met my sister who lives in Pasila at railwaystation. Because my sister came to visit to celebrate my father's birthday. We got home and our aunt and uncle was already there. A little later my brother came to holidays from army so it was nice that we all were there, we gave my father a sweater and biotherm lotions as birthday present.

I was pretty tired after friday so on saturday I was just at home, lazy doing nothing :P And got a new haircut (well, same practically but a bit shorter, my hair tends to grow too fast). Today I had dance practice again and next week I'll have to skip it because I'll be going to London and our flight leaves at 7am.

Also, today was kind of stressful because kinetic vibe released B1A4 tickets. Eventually I got tickets for me and Linda so yay! But kinetic vibe has a bit strange system, they released general tickets today which everybody has to buy if wanting to go to concert at all and then they will release upgrade tickets next friday when you can buy for example early entry to your ticket to upgrade it. Me and my friends are going for early entry but don't know how it ends up because when I bought my general ticket from kinetic vibe site, it was lagging really hard and it took me 10 minutes to get the payment through. It will be pain if it's same when upgrade tickets are going online.

But anyways, I'm gonna see these guys in december;

They're one of the few kpop groups I actively listen. I actually saw their very first concert in Seoul 2012. So it's so nice to see them in my country now~

Carnival feel

Hi again~

I feel like I've been everywhere this week, I don't even realize how fast time goes. Also, weather has getting pretty cold, just yesterday it went -5c at evening o.o But this is Finland so xD

At start of this week I went shopping with my mom. My mom needed winter jacket, pants and winter shoes. I needed new autumn shoes since i don't have but two pairs of sneakers and one pair of nice leather shoes. Those are my favorite pair but they're going to brake soon (there's already small hole at the bottom >__<). Anyway we went to Jumbo, well actually we went to Tammisto first to Erätukku which is specialized for outdoor clothing. My mom bought pants and then we went to Jumbo where we browsed about two hours. My mom found winter jackets, I didn't find anything. I should find shoes that support really well because of my foot problems. But all shoes were very thin and didn't support foot that much. I was surprised how thin many of the shoe's soles were, those are going to wear out very fast. I'll just look pair from London then.

Did I ever tell in here that I'm going to London from 25th to 28th October~ I don't remember lol. Anyway, two weeks to go and I'm so excited to finally go to London again! I've been there three times and out of all cities in europe, London is my favorite.

Did I even ever mention which countries I have visited? I found this awesome site a while ago where you can list your every flight, it's called flight diary. That link is straight to my profile and there's all flights I've ever been on board. So almost all countries are also there excluding Estonia because I've always went there by ship. And couple times to Stockholm by ship. But anyway, that site is fun way to see how many flights you've been in your life and it also calculates for example the aircrafts you have used the most etc.

Ok, then back to this week again~ so yesterday I went to Linnanmäki valokarnevaali which translates to lightcarnival. So Linnanmäki is amusement park and they do this every year around October. With this they officially close the season (amusement park's season is from May until September in Finland). I went with Annina and I had so much fun. We went while it was dusk and it got dark pretty fast. I had to go to one ride, I just had to lol. Because last time I was at amusement park was 2013 in South-Korea in Lotte World. Somehow now when I've gotten older the amusement park season just goes by and then in fall you're like "oh maybe I should have visited once this summer to have a little bit fun." Anyway I went to Vuoristorata as in rollercoaster. It's one of the oldest rollercoasters in the world and it's classic~ one of my definite favorites in Linnanmäki so I just had to ride it once lol.

Last days at work and some stuff I did this week

Hello everyone~

This week has been melancholic yet fun for me. On monday I went to shopping with my mom, she was looking a birthday present for her friend so I just went there to help. In the end I ended up buying some Vicks soothing toner, vicks deodorant and got a free gift package of vicks sample. But I really needed toner... I have one half used which is from garnier but it wasn't that good. I will do review of vicks products later~

Tuesday and wednesday were my last workdays in wdfg. I was kind of melancholic because it has been weird thinking I won't be going to airport almost everyday anymore and I won't see my wonderful work collagues. But on the other hand I'm glad to get rid of that place, especially with opteam workers, their rules and all felt unfair. I won't go into details but I advice you this: think twice before applying to any company that rents workers to other companies.

On thursday I met with one of my ex-work collagues that I've known since my first official job and we had nice time eating, chatting and shopping a little. I spended a little money to skincare product again. Oops. I bought Body Shop acne prevention gel stick. I still haven't tried it so I have to review it later. I seriously have tried too many products to taking care of my skin which refuses to cooperate almost with every acne/pore prevention products... It's frustrating, I feel like just as I have gotten my skin better it starts to get worse again. I have the most annoying skintype ever. But apparently I'm good at hiding it with makeup because my mom said to me this week "your skin looks it is in more better condition now" and I was like "no mom, it's just makeup" lol. But even makeup won't cover all T_T

I'm kind of new to skincare and makeup actually. You wouldn't seriously believe compared to my age but I started using makeup only 6 years ago and skincare about 3 years ago. My skin has always been sensitive and I didn't even like putting makeup before. And sometimes I have to use less if my skin is in bad condition. But basically I still don't use that much makeup. My routine is that at morning when I have washed my face I apply serum (I use Lumene's for sensitive skin), then base (I use nature republic), then BB cream (I use Missha's one that they don't make anymore <_<) and lastly CC powder (again from lumene. It gives nice matte look). I don't use mascara very often because my eyes are really sensitive. Lipstick I don't like to use that much. I prefer natural look. My evening routine is washing face, applying cleansing cream (Biotherm, the pinkshade bottle), after washing face again, applying serum (now Biotherm blue therapy accelerated) and then applying toner. I have come to the conclusion that my face don't handle creams very well. Or I haven't found the right one. But everytime I have used serum+cream next morning my face is full of pores. And I have tried every kind of creams (even very expensive sensai and biotherm). Nothing is good <_<

Sometimes when I get many pores I have to leave bb cream out of my makeup. Anybody has same problems with skincare and makeup?
Sorry for very long talk about this subject xD

Yesterday I went to movies with my mom. We watched "The Intern" and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have some positive thoughts and enjoy a slice of life movie. And today I went to autumn market with Annina and tomorrow is dance practice so there goes my weekend. But I had fun at autumn market, I will post couple photos here~

Funny texts. Only finnish person will know :P p.s.this is chocolate

I bought lingonberry honey from the booth you see in middle photo. Lappi-hunaja is my favorite company to buy honey. They have some interesting tastes but this time it was first time I saw for example blueberry, cloudberry and lingonberry honey and last one was the most tasty so I had to buy it even though it was a little pricey (one small jar was 12€ x.x)
